See UNITRON Microscopes and Imaging Solutions at ASCLD 2024 in Birmingham, AL

UNITRON is pleased to exhibit again this year at the 50th Anniversary ASCLD Symposium 2024 in Birmingham, Alabama from April 29 - May 1. UNITRON is proud to offer a selection of product that is ideal for the crime laboratory toolbox of forensic equipment.

This year UNITRON features its flagship forensic microscope, the Comparison Forensic Microscope. UNITRON’s CFM Series Microscope offers unsurpassed value and performance for the inspection of ballistics, firearms and toolmarks.

The Inspex 3 digital microscope delivers full HD (1080p) images at 60fps without a PC, enabling the system to be utilized as a solution across a broad range of quality control, testing,  assembly, inspection and documentation tasks.  The Inspex 3 provides efficiency, control and traceability of inspection. Several key features designed to deliver faster, more reliable results include new focus modes (autofocus, rocker focus and SpotFocus), real-time lens distortion correction and AshCal (precalibration to an ISO standard).

Our new Z645 zoom stereo microscope features a 6.7:1 zoom range (6.7x-45x magnification with 10x eyepieces) in an ergonomic and compact body. The Z645 is available on all of our standard stereo microscope stands. This year we have added the Excelis 4K camera to the Z645 to demonstrate the simplicity of adding digital cameras to most of our microscopes. The 4K streams video at 60fps directly to a connected HDMI, or you can connect it to a PC via USB3.0 for greater control and capture options via our CaptaVision+ software.

UNITRON welcomes you to the annual ASCLD Symposium! We'll see you in booth #55.
